Iida Mojzer graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2019 with the highest honors from the Royal College of Music in London, where she studied as a Stanbridge Drake Brockman Scholar under Jan Repko and Daniel Rowland.
Previously, her teachers have included Professor Michael Frischenschlager at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and Minna Pensola at the Sibelius Academy. Currently, Iida is pursuing her Master’s degree at the Sibelius Academy under the guidance of Tero Latvala.
Iida has performed actively across various European festivals as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. She has served as concertmaster for both the Royal College of Music and Sibelius Academy orchestras, and has worked with several professional orchestras in Finland and England.
In autumn 2020, Iida won the audition for the position of Second Concertmaster of the Lapland Chamber Orchestra.
With her quartet, Iida has performed extensively across the UK and made a debut at the prestigious Wigmore Hall in London.
She has participated in masterclasses led by Zakhar Bron, Latica Honda-Rosenberg, and Sergey Malov. In chamber music, her most influential mentors have been Marko Ylönen, Paavo Pohjola, and Melissa Phelps.
Iida plays a violin built by the Italian maker Amati in the 17th century.
